WHAT IS A TOOTH-COLORED FILLING?
Even with good oral hygiene and at-home care, we understand that cavities can still happen. 92% of all adults have had a cavity at some point in their lives. To restore your teeth, we use tooth-colored fillings.
Tooth-colored fillings are made from composite resin. The resin consists of glass-ceramic and plastic particles. Because the fillings contain no metal, they can be shaded to closely match the color of your surrounding tooth. The chemical composition of the fillings also means that they create a strong adhesive bond with the natural tooth structure, providing strength and stability to the restoration.
